Bello Belgo has received supported by several companies, institutions and organizations. Below, you will find an (uncomplete) overview of our sponsors, present and past.




The Total Foundation, the corporate philantropy arm of the Total company,  supports Total employees as they engage with the community. Since 2006, it has funded 245 projects championed by non-profit associations with which employees volunteer on a personal basis. Bello Belgo received a donation of 5,000 euro in 2012 to work on the Embajadas project in Venezuela. The donation has been made possible by Michiel Thiessen, then Total employee. 


“ProCom is a company specialized in professional communication”

They give training, individual coaching and advice in different areas of communication. ProCom supports the Bello Belgo Foundation trough training in some crucial soft skills: public speaking, negotiation, facilitation, and understanding individual characteristics and team dynamics. Moreover, they provide the Bello Belgo team with the IP to duplicate its trainings abroad.


(only in Dutch) “Academics For Companies geeft studenten ondernemingskansen” 

AFC Leuven, voluit Academics For Companies, is een studentenorganisatie die ondernemerschap stimuleert en studenten de kans biedt om hun professionele skills te ontwikkelen en relevante praktijkervaring op te doen. Bello Belgo geeft sinds 2011 studenten de kans ervaring te doen in sociaal ondernemerschap.





Upon the occasion of her 100th birthday, international philanthropist Kathryn W. Davis chose to celebrate by committing $1 million to Projects for Peace. Now in its sixth year, the Davis Projects for Peace continue to support and encourage today’s motivated youth to create and test their own ideas for building peace.

Bello Belgo Foundation has been one of the beneficiaries of the Davis Project for Peace for its joint project in Venezuela, Embajadas Comunitarias.
